There is some sort of redirection in the admin section. Can you show us the contents of your .htaccess file. Also, are you using any plugin for redirect. ?

Many thanks for trying to help I cannot access .htaccess as tablet failing to download filezilla I will have to find another way hotel WiFi not best but will post if I get access to download unless you know another way without fileziller once again I appreciate your kind response it is appreciated

I do apologize when you spell it out I understand the reasoning. I can access my hosting account which is how I downloaded file to Dropbox Again I apologise
Please – there’s no need to apologise. Its not something that crops up that often.
Now that you are logged into your hosting account, can to locate the file management tool your hosts probably have available for you to use? Or is there any tool available that is specifically for .htaccess management?

Yes as I say I got the file manager and located the .htaces file
Can you view the contents of the file in a plain text editor, then copy ‘n’ paste the contents of that file here? Please be assured that placing the contents of the file into the public domain here in no way represents any security concern for your site.

I was able to get htaccess to my Dropbox but cannot find a way to cut & paste content as I said I am away from home working on a tablet with restricted hotel wifi with your permission I shall leave this until I return home on Saturday when I will revisit public site is working OK can I thank you for your input & help it really is appreciated Oh to wind life’s clock back so my white hair & frizzled brain were young again thanks again warmest regards David
