Hello.
Please make sure that you do not have such an option enabled in any other security services installed on the website. After that, clear the website cache and try to enable the 2FA option again. Please open a browser console (F12) during this and tell us if any errors appear there.
Thanks. All of your advice was done before submitting the request for support. There are no other security plugins and we tested Cleantalk on default theme. Lightspeed cache was cleared every time.

Would you like to use normal email for support so that I can send screenshots?
PS. I am a paying Clean Talk customer.
This is the specific error when the 2FA button is selected:

You can submit a ticket here: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open or email us to [email protected]. Please add information to the ticket about whether you received an email with a code to activate the option or not.
Thanks. Please explain “whether you received an email with a code to activate the option or not”? We get the Clean Talk activate code when we add a website to the Clean Talk security portal.
I was talking about the email with a confirmation code to activate the 2FA option, which must be sent to your website admin email after you click on “On” or “Only for new devices”.
We will wait for your ticket and will continue our conversation there if you don’t mind.
We have never seen such an email and none of the other sites have ever needed this email to activate 2FA. Is this new?
No, this is not new, it’s always been like this. The code must be entered into the pop-up form to activate the 2FA option.
We have received an email with an 8 digit code and received the Cleantalk instructions. The modal windows is not appearing to allow us to enter the 8 digit code.
We have never done this for any of our other sites and they are working.

Thank you.
We have received your email and will continue there. By the way, thanks for the detailed description.
