Cannot activate EME

    Been trying to tackle this for a couple days.. so i started from a fresh install and it’s still spitting out this error when I try to activate EME. Any ideas?

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in
    \wp-content\plugins\events-made-easy\eme_rsvp.php on line 3461

    Which php version are you using? This error can only happen if your version is old (and unsupported probably)

    Current PHP version: 5.2.17

    That’s a version from 2011, not even wordpress supports that version anymore … please upgrade to something more recent.
