We have a possible solution in mind, just need to do some quick testing first before we have both of you try it out as well.
Chiming in to say that we haven’t forgotten this at all. It is on our radar still.
@celeste-9 is there any chance a new stagecoach site could be set up briefly for me to try a change with that I hope will resolve the issue?
Hi Michael, I set up the staging site and sent you an email.
Thanks!
CelesteThank you Celeste. <3
Stay tuned
Good news everyone! With Celeste’s help, I believe I know what I need to do to make this work again, at least in regards to the scope of running our plugin.
I’m hoping to get this change into 1.2.2 which will be next week at the earliest, but things are looking better.
@brightgirl I hope you’re still willing to give us a shot, I know it’s been a long time coming and you may have moved to other solutions since.
Great! I am still here and have not managed to find another workable solution, so I’m hoping this comes through. Appreciate your efforts on it!
@brightgirl, let’s give this a go.

It’s the 1.2.1 version + the changes regarding the original issue here. The same changes will be present in 1.2.2 when we get to that point, so it’ll be safe to start trying this now without losing things later.
Let me know if you run into any issues.
Michael – It works, it works!!! I was able to install and activate the plugin, connect to CC, create a form, and place it in a sidebar via the widget. The first time I tested it, it seemed like it worked, but the name was not actually added to the list in CC. (I got an admin confirmation email but the address was not actually added in CC). Then I realized I had not specified in settings which list I wanted names to be added to. Once I fixed that and tested again, it went through and I got not only the admin email the expected CC confirmation email as well and I was added to the list. Hooray!!! Thank you for everything you’ve done to get this working again!
If I disable email notifications in Settings, will that just stop the admin email that says you’ve captured a new submission? Or is that going to disable all email notifications? I still want the user to get a confirmation from CC that they’ve been added. I just don’t need the admin emails.
It should only stop the admin email that you receive about a new signup, which stem from your WordPress install. The notifications from constantcontact.com to the user themselves should not be affected at all.
Infinite appreciation with sticking with us this whole time.
Thanks for the clarification, Michael! Also want to say thanks to Celeste for helping with this. We are super happy to have it working again! 🙂
Should be addressed in the 1.2.2 update for everyone. Marking this issue resolved.
