Cannot activate plugin. Shows Warning !!!

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/amishmha/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php:990) in /home/amishmha/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876

    The above is the warning which I get when I go for activating a plugin.

    There is probably an error with the plugin. It is probably trying to send out header information at the wrong point. Try activating a different plugin and see if you get the same result.

    Hey Tomontoast,

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I tried other plugins but still its showing warning but this time I noticed that when I activate plugin I get the above warning and when I reach to plugin page on dashboard I can already see plugin activated.

    I can’t work out why this is occurring. What version of wordpress are you using?

    Its WordPress 3.5 the latest one. Updated just few hours ago.

    Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones. You may have a corrupt file.
