I’m trying to activate/deactivate a number of features on JETPACK. But I get a “xxxx (the feature) failed to activate/deactivate. TypeError: Failed to fetch.” message when I do so.

I have a multisite setup. Jetpack is network-activated and sub-site admins (that’s me) are allowed to connect to Jetpack themselves.

This error occurs in all the sub-sites.

BTW, this is a new-occurring problem — either/both after the recent WP and/or plugin updates.

Any and all assistance very welcome.

    Could you try the following:

    1. Open the dashboard page.
    2. Open your browser console
    3. Click on the Network tab
    4. Refresh the page.
    5. Try to activate or deactivate a module.
    6. If you see any lines in red inside the browser console, click on them. A new panel should appear on the right.
    7. Click on the “Response” tab in that new panel.
    8. Copy the message displayed there.
    9. Paste it here.
    10. If no red lines appeared in the browser console, click on the “Console” tab of the browser console.
    11. Copy any errors displayed there, and paste them here.

Could you also let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site?

    Thanks!

    Hi, Jeremy

Thanks for getting back on this.

Turned out this problem disappeared once I updated another plugin. So please consider this as resolved.

    Thanks for your assistance.

Could you let us know what plugin was conflicting with Jetpack? It could be useful for others running into the same error in the future.

    Thanks!
