[SOLVED] not add events in multisite installation

I installed the plugin on a multisite installation and activated it just on a subsite (per-site activation as found here: http://code.google.com/p/wp-aec/wiki/FrequentlyAskedQuestions#Does_the_AEC_support_the_WordPress_Network_%28Multisite%29_feature?) but trying to add an event from a “Author” user i get “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I’ve checked the permission for that role and they are ok.

EDIT: I’m sorry I didn’t check the right permissions: aec_add_events was the right item to check!
