Hi,

I installed the free version of this plugin and upon initial setup, I was able to connect a Google reviews feed with no issue, but then I realized I accidentally used the wrong location’s GBP/Location ID. When I deleted the feed and tried adding a different one, it throws the error “You have reached the maximum sources limit”, even when I have zero feeds connected.

I tried uninstalling/deleting the plugin (then re-installing it), purging cache, and triple checking our website’s database for any lingering feed info and it’s all clear with no feeds.

Any sort of assistance would be highly appreciated.

Hi @rwang33,

There are two ways this can be fixed. You can either get a Google Places API key for unlimited sources by following this guide: Creating a Google API Key for the Reviews Feed – Smash Balloon, or we can do a manual reset of source limit for you as it can take a few days for the limit to automatically reset on your site.

For a manual reset, please submit a support request via the form on our website, https://smashballoon.com/support/, and include the System Info. To obtain this information, please follow the steps on this page: https://smashballoon.com/doc/how-to-get-system-info. We ask you to use our form, as the System Info contains other website information from your site, which we do not suggest posting here.
