I have a button all set up and displaying correctly on my page. In the backend I have set a URL and the button correctly uses this URL on the live page. However, if I edit the button on my page by adding url=”http://yoururl” (updated to any full URL) it doesn’t override the existing URL I set in the settings.

If I remove the URL from settings and have url=”http://yoururl” (updated to any full URL) added in the button shortcode there is no link on the live page button.

I am on the latest WP build and twentytwenty theme.

Do you have a page I can see the issue on ?

If the URL is a normal page link it should work as you see. Do you have any caching plugins active? Be sure to flush those.

    Thanks for the reply.

It looks like it is a problem when inside the block I have the button in. Maybe even as it is a reusable block. I’ll test later, but now know it is working out of this block.

Let me know if you have anything else. As I understand it’s working now?

Yes it is fine thanks. Just changed the block it was in.
