Cannot browse folders

Hello

Tried your fantastic plugin on a local enviroment running php 8.3 and Nginx as webserver and everything worked like a charm

But after installing on remote server, the plugin refuses to work:
it shows the folder structure from httpdocs (wp-content/, wp-admin/, etc) but i’m unable to browse any folder.
– i can create a new folder, even delete ir but cannot enter it.
– i can download and preview any file.
– i can create a file and delete it.
But it is impossible to to browse, f.e., the wp-content folder
I’m restricted to the httpdocs folder for some reason…
Whenever i click on the wp-content folder on the left pane, it displays its content for a while, the collapses back. clickin on the right pane, does nothing.
If i click on wp-content or wp-admin or wp-includes, same behaviour: no response

On the js console it keeps repeating file /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=fs_connector&nonce=beae8446e5&cmd=open&reload=1&target=l1_Lw&tree=1&compare=&reqid=[….]

Server is runnig php 8.3 and Nginx
