Cannot bulk edit price for variable products

Hello,
I am trying to increase the price by a set amount for each category of products using bulk edit. The bulk price change works for simple products. However, when I try to do the same for variable products, it says ‘products updated’ but the price remains unchanged.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

The behaviour you’re describing is indeed the intended functionality – WooCommerce doesn’t currently support bulk editing of variations from the screen at Products > All Products.

Instead, for bulk editing, we recommend:
- A CSV product update using the core WooCommerce Importer/Exporter
- A 3rd party plugin like https://www.storeapps.org/product/smart-manager/
