Cannot change the date format

    Hi,
    I cannot seem to change the date format of my posts. Currently it is l, F jS, Y but I need to change it to F j, Y which I tried through Settings-General. but it doesn’t work.

    Hi firenda.

    Thank you for contacting us and for using our theme. We appreciate it.

    I’ve just tried to change the date format on my local install of Kale, by going to Settings -> General and it worked without any issues.

    Since the date format is core WordPress settings, the theme should have no effect on it. You can test it yourself by temporary switching to one of the standard Twenty-Something themes and see what happens. Also, please temporarily disable all plugins except Kirki and see if it makes any difference.

    i deactivated all the plugins and then activated them one by one. it turned out q-Translate-X plugon which come with this unchangeable date format. the mystery solved. I will have to write to the author
