cannot change to code editor

    I have a visual bar for editing posts and it is impossible to change to code edittor.
    While I am copying my text from Word document extra line appears between paragraphs and it is impossible to get rid of it. I was able to do it a month ago but not now.
    How can I add code button in my editor?

    I am trying to configure Live Writer but do not know what should I write in the box: Remote posting URL for my blog
    http://<hostname>/<wp_path>/xmlrpc.php

    whatever I put here does not seem to work.

    Also am I correct to type in the box above: WordPress 2.2+ as my type of weblog?

    Without knowing your blog address, I can’t give you the specific URL, but that is essentially correct. It’ll be your blog address followed by /xmlrpc.php. You also need to make sure that XML-RPC is enabled on the Settings->Writing screen in WordPress.

    Is this a safe Place to send you my blog address?
    I do not see in Settings- Writing screen an option to enable HML-RPC.

    I constantly receive error 406 when I fill up

    I found another off-line writing tool BlogDesk.
    Would this be easier for me to configure out?
