Cannot clear preselected calendar filter

Calendar is rendered with category and tag filters applied. In the Settings page, I see the category and tags in the “preselected calendar filter” fields but I cannot clear theme or delete them. Followed the instruction to hold down CTRL and click the selection. Tried that in three different browsers. Is there some other way to flush these selections out of the system? I would like to display a complete calendar without filtering already applied.
