    Hi, I have a WPML / WooCommerce webshop with a strange issue:
    some of my products cannot be purchased. I can start the order process, but once I’m in the checkout page, and select any of the Mollie payment methods, an error is displayed instead of the payment page. The error:
    There was an error processing your order. Please check for any charges in your payment method and review your order history before placing the order again.

    I activated a direct transfer payment method outside of Mollie to test, and then it works. So that suggests it has something to do with the Mollie payment system.

    But for other products, the same payment methods work just fine.

    What have I tried and tested:
    – made sure all plugins, theme and WP are up to date.
    – disabled all plugins except woo/mollie/acf (otherwise product pages won’t load)
    – changed to standard astra theme
    – tested on both languages (German and English) and sending to different countries (Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland)
    – switched back from PHP 8.0 to 7.4 (I read somewhere this caused similar issues for others). That seemed to solve it initially, but after a few hours the problem was back. Now set at PHP 8.2
    – disabled the WooCommerce Legacy REST API plugin (not sure what that would be needed for anymore anyway).
    – I compared a working product and a non-working product in wp-admin, but cannot find any difference that might cause this problem.
    – I duplicated a non-working product, to see if the original might be corrupted. But the issue remains (I do mean duplicate, not re-create).
    – I don’t see any errors in my browser console, except this: Error: runtime/sendMessage: Promised response from onMessage listener went out of scope
    – I tested with both Firefox and Chrome.

    But none of these things have made a difference. I cannot order these products through any of the Mollie payment systems (ideal, paypal, bank transfer):

    I am at a loss, and at the moment many customer orders are failing because of this problem. Can you help me get this fixed?

    I have the same problem with one of our websites. Many customer orders are failing. PLEASE HELP!

    The error:
    There was an error processing your order. Please check for any charges in your payment method and review your order history before placing the order again.

    I have tested this in Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge.

    I forgot to mention that upon these failures, the orders are actually registered and I receive an order confirmation email (including a pay now link). But they are in “pending payment” status in wp-admin.

    It is a mollie plugin issue. The developers said there are some issues with version 8.0.

    As mentioned, the developers provided a beta release that fixes these issues. You can download the beta fix here.

    They would appreciate some feedback on this beta fix.
