Whenever we are trying to connect the paypal account to the woocommerce store we get the standard 2factor login, then we get an “organisation” data window
and then when we approve that we get the “You can now use paypal on your woocommerce store” site.
but when we then press the button “back to woocommerce” we get back to the original site for connecting, the button reloads and nothing connects at all.

we have tried multiple times now every time with the same result.

It is a nonprofit business account. is that potentially the issue or is there some other problem that may be happening?
we have never had this problem with any other of our clients woocommerce shops.

    Hello @reicha

Thanks for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.

Its common problem, but easily solvable. Before starting the connection process, please disable all caching plugins and temporarily turn off Tracking Protection in Firefox (or change the browser), as it can block the connection during onboarding.

When the automatic PayPal onboarding still does not complete, you can use the manual connection method instead. Here’s how:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → PayPal.
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the connection screen.
    3. Click on “Manually Connect”.
    4. Enter your Client ID and Secret, which you can generate from your PayPal Developer Dashboard.

Here’s the relevant documentation that explains where to find it:
    https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/account-setup-and-onboarding/#section-6

Additionally, here is a short GIF pointing it out directly on the screen:

If that method fails for any reason let us know, but it should resolve the problem.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
