A 404 page could be caused by a couple of things:
- Some security/firewall setting on your website is preventing our plugin from writing files to the directory;
- A misconfiguration of the feed which results in no feed being created
- The feed is stuck processing and just not finished yet
Does the feed show the status ‘ready’ or is it still processing?
Well, it showed ready and it showed me statistics that said how many products were in the feeds.
The site does install a wordfence firewall. However I deactivated the plugin, created another feed, but still returns me a 404 when I tried to download the feed.
I’ve found out it was due to the incorrect media path set on WP. Once I changed to the correct one, it worked. Thanks for your help though.
