• Resolved wpdebugmode

After checking the plugin, I do not use it, because it’s too complicate to me. So, I’m trying to deactivate or delete. Steps I have done: go to TOOLS -> reset all settings -> OK. All sets are disabled. Click on plugins webiste to OFF/deactivate – no reaction. It is still active. Please help.

@wpdebugmode it’s good that you’ve done the resetting of all the settings.

Now, are you saying that using the “Deactivate” link, doesn’t actually deactivate the plugin? This shouldn’t be a problem from the plugin as there’s nothing stoping the user’s decision to deactivate it (nothing from the plugin’s functionality). If you want to deactivate it, so be it.

You can delete it from the directory where the plugins are stored in your WordPress installation in case deactivating just doesn’t work (e.g. perhaps there’s a problem on the “Plugins” page and the links are broken): /wp-content/plugins/wp-asset-clean-up/
