Cannot delete slide

    I am using the slider and carousel. I have 4 slides and the last one is locked. I unlock it and save. View the page. Then when I go back in the editor the slide is there with a lock. I have deactivated plugins, cleared cache and changed themes.

    You can delete slides or add them from parent block only via toolbar

    I can unlock it and delete. Then I save and it comes back. I did it under the list view and the contexual toolbar. When I try to delete it, the slide comes back with a lock.

    You should not touch lock option. Select parent Slider block and delete slide from toolbar. The same when you need to add

    I am not locking it. If I delete it and save, it returns and is locked.
    I am getting the following in my console not sure if its related.
    “Using custom components as toolbar controls is deprecated since version 5.6. Please use ToolbarItem, ToolbarButton”

    Using custom components as toolbar controls is deprecated since version 5.6. Please use ToolbarItem, ToolbarButton – this is from Elementor. Try to disable it

    I am not using Elementor. I deactivated plugins and switched to Storefront theme just to see if it was a theme issue.

    Then, other plugin loads slider library.

    Also, you still didn’t answer me how you remove latest slider. Can you explain?

    Not sure what you mean.

    I am able to delete the whole “slider/carousel” but not individual slides. The only work around is to create a new slider/carousel and recreate the slides. It creates two slides that are locked.
