Cannot disable author name and date

    I’d like to disable the author name and date of the post. Although the features in the Single Post have been switched off, the article still displays it.

    Thanks for contacting us,

    For this go to Date / Author Settings (Theme Dashboard >> appearance >> customize >> Theme Options) and select Hide All and save the settings, you can also following screenshot link: http://prntscr.com/s9c0k9

    Hi, thanks for the prompt reply.

    The Date and Author has been set to Hide All under Theme Options. Even options under Single Post have also been disabled, but the article still displays the date and author.

    For this add the below css code in additional css filed (Theme Dashboard >> appearance >> customize)

    .mg-blog-post-box .mg-header h4, .mg-blog-date
{
display: none!important;
}

    Am I allowed slide in here as I’m having same problem…

    I added the css code as suggested
    .mg-blog-post-box .mg-header h4, .mg-blog-date
    {
    display: none!important;
    }

    BUT it only got rid of the DATE. The AUTHOR NAME is still there?

    Hi,

    For remove date and author on single page, then go to single post settings in customizer (Theme Dashboard >> appearance >> customize >> theme options) and disable or click remove.

    No confusion. I also did what previous user said to do

    I just noticed that there was an update to the theme and when I loaded the update the Theme Options worked and I am now able to display or not display the author and date.

    Thank you for that. Problem solved!!
