Here is a solution. (ONLY DO THIS IF AND ONLY IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST SOME BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF PHP)
1. GO TO YOUR WORDPRESS INSTALLATION FOLRDER
CLICK wp-conten –> plugins –> facebook-for-woocommerce –>
RIGHT CLICK + EDIT THIS FILE –> facebook-commerce-messenger-chat.php
2. SCROLL DOWN TILL YOU FIND THIS CODE:
public function inject_messenger_chat_plugin() {
if ( $this->enabled === 'yes' ) {
REPLACE “yes” WITH “no”
CLICK SAVE.
3. REFRESH YOUR SITE AND SEE IF IT WORKS.
I deleted this plugin but still works. It is a problem…
The plugin only gives you code, to remove it you need to delete the added code, not the plugin.
@asafma I cant find where the damn facebook chat snipped got inserted, I can see it in the Inspector but cant find it in the wordpress file system….So frustrating
Yes really annoying the the chat on WP site. How do you delete in messenger form the site if you dont know PHP??

The file has probably changed, I can’t find the line to put on false.
Same problem, any one have solution?
I turned off the plugin and even deleted it, then the Facebook messenger still show up on all of my pages. It’s very bad experience with Facebook chat, I don’t want to use it anymore.
