Cannot disable safe mode in PHP 5.4

    Your faq says:

    “The plugin does not work very well when PHP’s safe mode is active. This must be disabled by your administrator”

    However, the safe mode feature has been deprecated as of PHP 5.3 and removed in PHP 5.4.

    Does this mean that your plugin will not work with an updated PHP?

    I have a very high time to first byte and am trying to figure out the cause – perhaps your plugin?
