Hey @srujanika
Thanks for the feedback! There are a few items in the FAQ that may provide a solution to this issue, this one may get you going.
– Why can’t I download files / see a 404.3 / get a corrupted installer?
Let me know if this helps~
Hello Cory,
Thanks for the tip. There is no server or browser constraints on downloading zip / php files – I do not know about daf. I can download the archive from the snapshot directory via cpanel without any problem.
Tried disabling .htaccess throug duplicator settings. The problem remains the same. However, when I visit the genera; settings page again I find that the disable .htaccess box unchecked – I had checked it and saved just before the package creation. Does storage directory mean the snapshot folder?
As mentioned earlier I am able to download the archive file through cpanel, so the problem can be bypassed. Stil it would be nice to know why this happes and to find a solution to the irritant.

I have the same issue. I’m a happy user of the plugin on 15+ sites and today I found that one of them is not working for the download of the zip archive. The PHP installer is downloadable just fine.

I am having exactly the same problem: when trying to download the files I get an error for the.daf file.
Please help!
Hey @cbouche,
If the FAQ above doesn’t help, we suggest reaching out to your host or trying a previous version of the plugin to help us identify if its related to the latest release. If you still can’t find a solution feel free to see the thread above about submitting a ticket.

I had to go to the cPanel/File Manager and locate the folder “wp-snapshots” where the file was created, and download the files from there.
I believe the problem is related to the latest release because the files are properly created, but it doesn’t find the file .daf when trying to download it.
I hope this helps.
Hey @cbouche,
On all of our tests across several different hosts, we are not seeing the issue with 1.3.20, I think the only way to know for sure on your host would be to install 1.3.18 and see if it solves the issue for you, at that point we could at least narrow it down to the latest release on your host. In order for us to pin-point the issue on your host, we would need to work closely with you to isolate the problem, at this point we haven’t been able to simulate the issue.

Dropping by to also report this issue. Initially noticed this on .18, also an issue on .20. I can download via FTP fine but HTTP reports 404 not found. Even when I copy the filename exactly from FTP and layout my url in front of it, same 404 (also can confirm it’s the same url as generated from clicking the ‘archive’ button).
Interestingly, in my testing the archive download works fine when you click into a package’s details, so it appears to only be an issue with the main packages screen. On that same screen, downloading the installer works fine as well. It’s down to the archive button on the ‘manage’ section that appears to have this issue. Hope that helps!
Where can we download the previous version of duplicator lite – 1.3.18?
Cant download completed backup package. I have been using Duplicator for years. Naver faced this error. Package completes, but cant download the archive file.
Download fails
I have the same issue. Cannot download the archive.zip anymore. installer is downloadable.
For any users on this thread… Please connect with us via a support ticket, since we have not been able to repro this issue we need to work with someone to see if we can spot the underlying issue. Please provide a link to this thread when submitting the ticket…
For those of you looking for a previous version you can find one here:

Just scroll to the bottom of the page.
Thanks~
Hello,
I had raised a support ticket and provided the trace log as desired. No problem could be detected at your lab. I was asked for cpanel access but with others reporting the same issue, it could not be my set up only.
If possible, please give us a link to download the older version for checking.
Thanks,
Nikhil
Hey @srujanika,
The link to download a previous version is directly above your comment. You may also double-check with your host to see if they placed any download constraints on .zip or even .daf files.
