Cannot edit business listings

    I can upload/import new listings and display everything I need, but I cannot edit individual listings now. The editing page will not display phone, address, website…I’ve unplugged everything with no success. It seems to be related to being on PHP 7 from what I can tell so far. The plugin works on another install I have that is not on PHP 7.

    I’ve reached out to support, but I’m being asked to pay for support and find that irritating when the plugin was free.

    Anyone else encounter this?

    Since there’s virtually no information on correcting the matter, I’ll be moving onto another option. I was hopeful, but alas.

    I’ve run a compatibility checker and corrected the one error it came up with, but there’s still something missing. Time to cut my losses.

    Hi Eric,
    Sorry to hear you are having trouble editing Business Directory listings. We have testing sites running on php7, so not sure that is the issue.

    Have you updated to the most recent version of the Business Directory? https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/chamber-dashboard-business-directory/

    Have you tried testing for a possible conflict with a theme or plugin you are using by switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivating all plugins except the Business Directory to see if the problem still exists?

    Apparently, this is a theme related matter, but can’t figure it out since it works on the same theme in a different install…but, yes…switching themes on the current install brings back the screen options. Frustrating. Wonder if I’ve added some custom code somewhere along the way that has done this.
