cannot edit content in ‘About’ widget

    Hi,
    I want to edit the content in the ‘About widget’, but when I click on it, nothing happens.It doesn’t lead me to a content box. I can change the heading, pre-heading etc. just not the ‘edit content’. I’m using a free version of Optimizer.
    Kindly help.

    Hi,

    Sounds like a plugin conflict. Can you please disable all the plugins and see if the issue is still there?

    Hi Layerthemes,

    I deactivated most of my plugins, but I could not find the plugin causing the conflict. Had a lot of trouble re-activating the plugins again, as it had changed some of my settings 🙁

    That’s why I did not deactivate all as with some I was too scared I would lose everything!

    So the problem still exists, I cannot edit the content in ‘about’ and some other widgets. Is there a plugin where you mostly encounter this problem? So I can focus on removing that one. Or can you help me in another way? All plugins are updated.

    These are my current activated plugins. I’ve checked if the widgets work in the ‘customize’ mode, and there I can edit them (if I add the widget in the footer widget area for example). But I would like them to work in a post and on a page in ‘dashboard’ mode.
