• I have a strange problem, whenever I tried to save and edit php files of a particular theme, I get the following error:

“Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.”

I could edit and save css and other files, but not php files. The strange thing is that I could edit and save php files of other themes on the same site. I’ve checked all files have the same permissions.

this means the PHP code you are trying to add is breaking the site, make sure there is no code conflict or compatibility issue with other plugins or function
