    Hi,

I use Avada theme and FooGalleryPro.

All my images have titles, captions, alternate texts and descriptions (as seen in the media library). When I go into FooGallery galleries, I also can see the texts for the images.

Now when I use Relevansi (searching e.g. for string “Prunkbett” – which is for sure in titles and captions and descriptions of multiples images) then Relevansi does not find anything.

    For an example see https://www.monumente-im-bild.de/schloss-bruchsal-innen-hauptbau-beletage-gruenes-zimmer/#link-1/0/mib-br-4k-2018-05-11-a-4880-schloss-bruchsal-gruenes-zimmer-prunkbett.jpg

I checked “Expand shortcodes” and looked for other options. But I do not find a configuration setting which enables finding relevant images and pages.

Did I miss something? Did I misunderstand something?

Should Relevansi be able to find pages / galleries with certain strings in image titles/captions etc?

    Thanks.

    Manfred

Expanding shortcodes is not helping; even if it is set, the FooGallery shortcode is not expanded, because it’s not activated when Relevanssi is doing the indexing.

Unfortunately FooGallery is simply not compatible with Relevanssi.

If you make Relevanssi index the attachment post type, Relevanssi should be able to find the images directly based on their names and captions. FooGallery stores the pictures in the WordPress Media Library, where they are freely available to Relevanssi.
