cannot find the trash can

    hi, for some reason some of my posts have been deleted in my site. i had someone working on it and i cannot find the trash can to restor them. i have searched online and cannot find the answer. can anyone explain where the trash can has gone

    Hi @vintageman,

    Is it possible that the person who trashed the posts also deleted them from the bin? If so, you would have to roll back to a previous backup.

    The trash/bin should be located across the top of the ‘Pages’ view, next to ‘All’ and ‘Published’.

    I know this is not helpful now – but it is always a good idea to take a full file and database backup before letting anyone work on your site. Just in case!

    Hi @vintageman,

    If you don’t have that option then the pages have either been manually deleted from the trash, or (in some cases) automatically over time.

    Your only option is to roll back to a previous backup of your website. If you’re not sure you have one, you are best to check with your hosting provider.
