Cannot finish wizard steps when email auth code entered

    Hello there,

    The issue I’m experiencing seems similar to another issue posted here by gquinmat (“Can’t finish wizard steps”) a few weeks back. I’ve had a quick look at the code and I’ve a suspicion that the JavaScript isn’t selecting the email auth code (it seems to select everything else) which means it thinks you haven’t actually entered the auth code into the form. Note that it only seems broken for email authentication (authenticator app is fine). We are testing with version 2.3.0. Any help or guidance you can give would be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much for using our plugin.

    I am sorry to read about your issue. We can confirm that on a Vanilla WordPress install this works well. By any chance, do you have any particular theme, or have you applied any customizations to the 2FA wizard?

    If you did, can you try running it when using the default theme as a test and advise if it works? It would be a good test to find out what could be causing the issue.

    Many thanks for your reponse and you are absolutely correct: the issue is some strangeness caused by the Theme My Login plugin. I’ve not gotten to the bottom of the issue but configuring a new 2FA website page means we can avoid this problem.
