A couple of my feeds were having trouble updating when I tried to manually refresh. When I toggled them off all of the data was lost and I was unable to manually regenerate the feed. I tried to fully delete the plugin from my site and reinstall it in hopes of starting over. However, when I reinstall the plugin it behaves as if it was never deleted from my site (all of my settings and feeds are still visible). This was the last fatal error log from May 24th before I deleted the plugin again.

Could you please let me know what I can do to remove any outdated or corrupted files the plugin may still have on my site? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Yes our plugin keeps around the previously created feeds/configs for a while because often people don’t realise their campaigns are effected by removing our plugin and/or feed. That however should not prevent you from doing a new install of the plugin.

So when you are on the latest version of the plugin is the error still thrown and is it on the same line (441)?

    (@hannahnaomi)

Thank you for getting back to me! I am on the newest version of the plugin and have not received that same error a second time since the 24th. However, I just installed the plugin again and I am still receiving a message indicating that ‘there has been a critical error on this website’ if I try to generate a new product feed. After receiving that message I can see the new feed I create on the ‘Manage Feeds’ page as processing at 0% (it never updates further). It generates a URL for the feed but that URL is not found. Also, I have turned off my original feeds by toggling them to inactive. However, if I try to reactivate them and then navigate off the page they do not turn back on so they are unable to update. Let me know what you need from me and thank you again for your help with this!

Can you share the content of the Woocommerce fatal error logs of today with us? That should probably give an indication as to why your feed is not generating.

    Thread Starter hannahnaomi

    (@hannahnaomi)

There were no fatal errors today due to Product Feed Pro. I do have one due to a code snippets plugin, which is odd. That is not an issue I have come across before. Have you come across any conflicts with code snippets plugins that could help me figure out what is going wrong?

    supportadtribes

    (@supportadtribes)

So no more errors coming from our plugin, does that mean your feed is updating again too?

Can you share the product feed debug.log so we can tell if the updating process is running? Instructions on how to retrieve the debug.log can be found here: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

The XML feeds are still not updating. I included the debug.log below

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply however what you included in your last reply is not the plugin debug.log. Please follow the instructions as laid out here to retrieve the plugin debug.log URL: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

    Thread Starter hannahnaomi

    (@hannahnaomi)

Thanks for this. I had a look at the debug.log and noticed you have multiple feeds configured. Some indeed stopped processing and others had their last update today. Which of the feeds according to you is not working properly?

    Thread Starter hannahnaomi

    (@hannahnaomi)

Unfortunately none of the xml feeds are working. The CSV feed works but is not what we need. Two of the xml feeds (Facebook Shopping by GFS and Pinterest) will not toggle back on to active from inactive. Neither will update. The other feed (Facebook Ingested Data Feed) is active but stopped and the generated feed url comes back as a 404 on my site. When I try to update the feed it remains at 0% and never changes. Let me know what the next steps should be and if you need any information. Thank you again for your help!

    • You can forcefully re-activate all feeds by adding &force-active=true in the url on the manage feeds page so the URL becomes ../wp-admin/admin.php?page=woosea_manage_feed&force-active=true
    • A 404 feed URL means the feed file itself is not there anymore or never has been when the feed never successfully finished. Did you already check the WooCommerce fatal error logs of the last couple of days to see what is in there?
    Thread Starter hannahnaomi

    (@hannahnaomi)

Thank you, I was able to activate all of the feeds but they are still not updating. There have been no recent fatal errors involving Product Feed Pro.

    • And are you sure your WP-cron is active and or the cron hooks are present needed to update the feed? Did you already try to de-activate and re-active the plugin as that will reset all needed cron hooks?
    • You mentioned you checked the fatal error logs, are there any maximum execution time errors or maximum allowed CPU usage errors in there?
    • Are you using a caching plugin or running server-side (object) caching? If so, make sure to flush all caching and make sure the feed URL’s are not being cached.
    Thread Starter hannahnaomi

    (@hannahnaomi)

My WP-cron is active and I do not see anything unusual with the cron hooks. I have de activated and re activataed the plugin at least three times in the past two weeks. I have even deleted the plugin entirely but when I reinstall the same issues persist.

I do not see any maximum execution time errors or CPU usage errors in my fatal error logs. I have not installed a plugin to cache my site but is it possible that another plugin would have that function? I did turn off a couple of features on some larger plugins in hopes that could help. I just cleared some transients and caches in the logs section of woocommerce but I can’t tell which On the status page of woocommerce I can see the line

    External object cache: –

And I also see some oembed data that could be causing an issue. Could you let me know how I can safely clear those and what the next steps should be? I so appreciate all of your help!

Do you have cron hooks in your list that start with woosea_ ? If so, can you list the ones you have in your hooks list?
