• The image loader does not work properly in my current WordPress installation. Initially it would load – but took ages to do so. When loaded I uploaded a properly sized image 500KB or so. It gave a fatal message, but the image appeared in the gallery. When I went to install it in my post, the only option I had was full size.

I deleted the image. Closed everything, relogged on and tried again. This time it wouldn’t even load the image loader.

I tried this process with another site. Everything worked fine.

    What should I do?

Rebooted my machine yet again and somehow the problem seems to have sorted it out. Thank you WordPress guardian for chasing out the gremlins.

    Spoke too soon.

Problem with one image. Get the following message.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /home/liveistr/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 254

Is there anything I can do?
