cannot get menu to load correctly

Hi,
i have created a custom menu with two levels and then activated the vertical menu, but on my website http://www.redooce.com, it just shows all the parent + child menu options in one long column all under each other. This is currently showing on the left hand column on my site if you are able to see it?

i would really like to get this working as it would make a great addition to my website. Can anyone suggest what I need to do please?
