Cannot Get Modal to Trigger

    I just found this plugin and it looks great. However, I cannot get the modal to load in any way. I’ve tried triggering from a button, an image, auto-loading upon page load. Nothing will get the modal to appear. there’s very little configuration so I’m not sure what is going on.

    I set up a demo page (linked above) with literally one button and the modal in there. The button is set to trigger the modal in its settings. Nothing happens. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi @macstainless

    I believe the plugin Litespeed cache is minifying/concatenating your JS which could result in issue loading a modal. Could you try adding the following under the Litespeed settings > Page optimization > Tuning > JS Excludes:

    light-modal-block/build/view.js

    Purge the cache, and see if that resolves the issue?

    Hi @dkjensen , I’ve tried that and unfortunately it did not resolve the issue. In addition I tried:

    1. Turning LightSpeed off completely via WP dashboard.
    2. Turning Cloudflare cache off completely.
    3. Confirming nothing in AssetCleanup is causing an error, but I also disabled the plugin completely.

    I’m not sure what else to try. I can leave my site in the current noted plugins & cache fully-disabled state for a few hours so you can look at it, but I will need to re-enable everything shortly in order to have the functionality I need. Any more help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I’m going to move onto another plugin for now. I’ve removed this from my site and re-enabled all functionality I’ve turned off. Sorry I can’t keep it in that state for too long. If this is resolved at some point, I will consider returning to it. Thanks.
