Cannot Get Plugin to Work Multisite Install

    I have a new installation of Multisite based on the TurnKey VM download appliance (Debian).

    I am trying to get a multisite installation running smoothly for our school district so that classes can teach blogging and use it for student projects.

    The site itself is up and teachers are initially playing with setting and learning wordpress until I can get the active directory integration piece working for them. I have tried EVERY one on wordpress and am at my wits end. In the case of this one, it always says invalid username on logon attempt of a new user.

    I have various other linux servers using LDAP to authenticate off of my AD (like Moodle, running Ubuntu 12) and have no problems. Any help on ideas of what I may be missing would be appreciated. It may be a component on the Debian/Wordpress server that I have not install (I did add LDAP PHP5) but I am not sure. Since none of the plugins work sucessfully for me (even the ones that have “test config” options that test fine)

    After testing again it seems the problem is that it is not using the username but the entire cn.

    After adding the @####.### on the account siffix it is all good.
