Cannot get the plugin to pull feed

Dear Taylor,

I have trying to pull feeds by using the following settings, but nothing really shows up in the browser. It says ” Nothing was found at this location”. Here are the settings I used. I have used goog rss feed link as an example here.

Source Feed URL: http://news.google.com/?output=rss‎
XPath to Posts: channel/item
Namespace Prefix: “empty” (left this blank)
Namespace URL: “empty” (left this blank)

Post type: Page
Post status: Draft
Update Existing posts: Yes

Field mapping (not really sure about the values I set in these fields) :
Source field path(Xpath): News
New Post Location: post_title (cannot really change this)
Mapping Type: Post Field (cannot really change this)

Source field path(Xpath): news.google.com/?output=rss‎
New Post Location: guid(cannot really change this)
Mapping Type: Post Field (cannot really change this)

Could you please guide me in the right direction and point out where I could have gone wrong here.
