I’ve been repeatedly attempting to backup to DropBox, which is authenticated. I’ve tried both manual and scheduled backups and neither works. It used to work fine (back in April), but for some reason, I can no longer get it to work properly. No logs or files generated, although I notice that there is a sub-folder in DropBox, which is.

I’ve also tried Google Drive. Same problem.

I’ve tried Debug Full Backup and it times out.

My website is debozarko.com and I’m at a loss as to what to do now. Any help is graciously received.

Hi there, I’ve been trying other ideas based on previous forum answers but still can’t get UpdraftPlus to work. Anyone have any ideas for a WP backup plugin that actually works?

    Hi,

When you attempt to trigger a manual backup, what happens? Are you taken through the steps to start the backup?

When I click on the “backup now” button, I’m taken to a popup screen that asks, “Perform a one-time backup” with 3 check boxes: Include the database, Include any files, and Send this backup to remote storage.” I leave all 3 items checked and then click the “backup now” button.

It seems fine initially. Looks like its doing something (which is what I’m familiar with). But when I check my Dropbox folder a while later, it’s empty. It used to backup regularly with no issues. Everything is up to date with my version of WordPress and my plugins, so I’m at a loss as to what has gone wrong.

Never mind, I figured it out. Some very large files that my web programmer left as backups of my old website.
