cannot import Arabic username

    Hello,
    I’m trying to import “Arabic” username, but it doesn’t work.
    for example, if I have a username “خالد_الصواف” it becomes “_” and the Arabic characters were removed.
    however, I can create the same username from the WP admin with no problems at all.
