Last year I broke a category off from a site into its own. That turned out to be a bad idea so I want to import it back to the original. Problem is when I try this plugin won’t import citing the previous import from last year. How do I force it to re-import this content.

I tried again by changing the unique identifier in step for to 2023 – so that each one couldn’t possibly be viewed as a duplicate based on that. Didn’t work, WTF?

This is clearly a bug. For example, it says stuff like “2023 – some title imported last year – ID” already exists even though nothing with the 2023 – prefix ever existed before.

This sounds really strange, and I’d really need to see your import configuration/data to understand what’s going on. Please replicate the problem on a sandbox site at http://www.wpallimport.com/debug/, then send us the sandbox site URL and a brief description of what’s going on via http://www.wpallimport.com/support/.
