    Hello,

When I click on “advanced editor” and get the edit box, I highlight the text that I want to make a link and select the “link” button on the toolbar. I then get the typical WordPress insert link box.

However, I cannot type into the URL or Link Text boxes.
I can check/uncheck the “open link in new window/tab” box
I can select from recent items in “link to existing content,” but I cannot type into the existing content search box.

I have tried using Chrome and Firefox and have had no success.

    Hi Scott,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yeah, this is a known issue with “Insert Link” button in the “Advanced Editor”. I haven’t yet found a definite fix, but I’ll try to for the next release.

Meanwhile, there’s a simple workaround: Just use the “Insert Link” button on the “Edit” screen itself (right next to the “Advanced Editor” button). That will open the same dialog, but this time you can edit the URL.

    Regards,
    Tobias
