Cannot insert user without email

    I used the sample sheet to add my user data .. all fields except URL are filled, there are no extra spaces in any field, and there are only 267 rows, but the import runs endlessly until I close the page, with every line item spouting this error ..

    Cannot insert user without email

    I have tried with the existing users and without..
    as it is attempting the import .. the row number increases (1,2,3,4 etc) but
    EVERY user id it returns is ‘1’
    EVERY user status it returns is ‘1-1’

    Your assistance/advice appreciated

    I knew as soon as I posted something here I would figure it out ….
    .. I was using the mac program ‘numbers’ and although the file extension was .csv, it wasn’t reading properly .. I re-exported and it worked as expected.

    Hello Wendy,

    In order to import and export customer data into woocommerce by using our plugin, you need to have csv file and whichis UTF-8 encoded. we glad that your issue got reslved.
