The issue you’ve come across is related to running old PHP versions. Simple Share Buttons Plus only supports 5.3+, you can read more about why here – https://docs.simplesharebuttons.com/plus/requirements/#why-not-php-5-2
Most hosts are happy to upgrade your PHP and often do pretty quickly, but if you have any issues upgrading just let support know via the support channels I mentioned above.
