Cannot link Dropbox for backup

    I used to use Dropbox for Updraft Plus but it stopped working and I cannot re-add it. I tried fully removing and reinstalling the plugin still cannot link it. I also use a security plugin called Shield Security and I even deactivated that as well as all other plugins but still cannot add. I get an error message “There has been a critical error on this website” Please advise on how to resolve issue, thanks. Latest WordPress, all plugins up to date.

    Hi,

    There could be a possible conflict with other plugin you are using. Can you try to temporarily deactivate and see if issue persists? You can also check your PHP error log. It should also provide us some clue as to what is the exact cause of the issue.

    Bryle,

    In my original post I said I disabled all plugins but the issue only happens when trying to configure Dropbox in Updraft Plus and it happens with all other plugins disabled. I contacted the webhost and i cannot access the PHP.log file in EasyWP. Do you have any other ideas?

    Hi,

    Can you try turning on the debugging in WordPress?
    You need to add this line to your wp-config.php file.
    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
