Cannot Login:-(

Good Morning-

I installed WordPress via dreamhost and I would like to install a stat widget. It is asking me for an API key that I may obtain by logging into my wordpress account, however I don’t recall getting a login for this. I only log in via the wp_admin way. I’ve tried everything and it doesn’t recognize any of my e-mails or names. Do I need to actually sign up for wordpress again?
