    Okay, I see.

So, could you please provide me with your full address URL, like ‘https://mywebsite.com/login/‘ ? Does your URL look something like this?

    Thread Starter gts97

    (@gtsitsis)

yes it does look like this /login/ , i see the login form, i use my credentials as admin to login, and then shows /wp-login.php and says 404 error so its redirecting i suppose

but the issue also is that actually i am not logged in because i dont see either the top admin bar etc neither wp-admin opens

Could you try deactivating the WPS Hide Login plugin via FTP, then reconnect to your WordPress admin panel?

Once you’re connected to the dashboard, you can reactivate the plugin and check the login URL in the settings.

yes like isaid i already tried to re install the plugin nothing changed

I know that i can connect with that way but my main concern is change the login url to /login/ and that doesnt work like it should be i dunno if the issue is from your plugin or my website yet

Hello, when you disable WPS Hide Login, do you receive a message asking you to confirm the administrator email address?

    (@gtsitsis)

    Hello

If i disable the plugin and then refresh the page then i can normally see the wp admin page

So basically the /login/ page does set 200 OK and logs me in . but i dont know whats happens next to explain it to you

So, you can log in to the admin area normally. You don’t see any message from WordPress asking you to confirm your email address?
Is your WordPress version up to date, and are all your plugins updated?
Can you please send me the list of plugins you’re using?

i cannot login in admin area while the plugin is activated .

if the plugin is activated and i set as login url the /login/ or anything else, then if i use that link to login, it shows the login form etc, then when i try to login goes to wp-login.php url and shows as 404 not found

if i disable the plugin, i can normally sign in etc etc

    Hi,

It’s normal to be redirected to a 404 page because WPS Hide Login is used to hide wp-login.php.
If you see the login form at /login, it means the plugin is working correctly.
Once you’re logged in, try adding /wp-admin at the end of the URL — if you’re successfully logged in, you’ll be redirected to the dashboard.
