• Hi

My admin page is showing the WSOD. I have disabled all plugins from phpmyadmin, but that hasn’t made any difference and I am not getting an email to the admin email account.

    I am using PHP 7.1

Can someone advise what I can try next please?

    Thanks,
    Joe

try changing to one of the default themes via FTP.
    temporarily rename active theme’s folder
be sure you have a backup of database and files.

    Hi lisa

I tried renaming the theme, but I still get the same error for the admin folder

which themes are available in your themes directory?
can you rename your plugins directory to plugins-old?

    Hi Lisa

The themes in my themes folder are:

    classic
    default
    flow
    businesso
    lyndi1
    gluedideas_subtle
    twnetyeleven
    thesis_16
    twentyten
    twentytwelve

When I rename my plugins folder to plugins-old I get this error when trying to log into admin:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

    Thanks,
    Joe

This is all sorted now 🙂 I had to remove the W3 total cache plugin
