I am a complete WordPress novice and need some assistance. I have received a copy of my company’s website and was told to get it online. I have successfully completed that task but now I cannot get into the WordPress back-end. I keep getting the “Unknown Username” error even though I have gone into phpMyAdmin and changed both the username and password multiple times.
Some relevant info: I have had to disable the AIO Security & Firewall plugin or else I get the “Not Available” error. I have had to change domain names for testing purposes if that makes any difference.

    Thanks in advance.

If it were me, I would just create a new admin username/password. There’s a guide here at WordPress dot org that shows how to change the password/etc. But I would just create a new admin user. And this guide below shows how to do that and even has a video as well:

I tried that as well but I finally figured it out this morning. Somehow WP was looking at a different ‘users’ table. After discovering that, I was able to reset the password from a user in there and get in. Instead of WP looking in the wp_users table it was $oldmanager_users
