Cannot modify header information – headers already sent

    Hi…have been developing my site gradually for months and have used your great plugin since the start. I’ve tested a few caching plugins which caused a few problems, and ended up restoring a backup (of the site, not of the database) to clear them.

    One of the issues I had has not gone away though. I get this displayed on a blank page when I click on submit for search and filter…

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/sites/e/edgazette.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/template-blank-1.php:17) in /var/sites/e/edgazette.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1228

    I’ve checked it out with my host (tsohost) and my theme developers (theme x), and nothing has come up. Have ruled out conflicts with any other plugins myself, and have checked that the standard wordpress search works OK.

    Would be very grateful for your ideas and support.

    Finally solved by enabling output_buffering on my host server setup.

    Nice, it sounds like you have a php error/warning somewhere in your site which prevents the page from redirecting.

    The best bet would be to track down this issue, but your workaround will likely work out for now.
