Cannot publish, save drafts or preview posts since 4.1.2

    Had read several posts when update 4.1.2 came out that this was a known issue and would be fixed in 4.2 but problem still remains for me.

    I have disabled all plugins but still no luck.

    Have tried in firefox, chrome and ie. Have also cleared browser cache and tried again.

    Have tried in visual and text editor.

    In chrome I get:
    No data received

    ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    In firefox I get:
    The connection was reset

    The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

    Since you got this error try Chrome. Try also another computer from another connection. If these won’t still work. Use another default WP theme.

    I’m using my own theme to match my website’s design.

    I don’t know why, but 4.2.2 has fixed it for me.

    I also found out in 4.2.1 that if I avoided certain characters, I could save, update, preview and publish. Characters such as accents on letters, the opening and closing apostrophes instead of “, the inclined colon instead of the normal one ‘.

    I don’t know why though…
