    If you are using WP v1.5.1, replace your copy of the functions.php with revision 2606 of the functions.php file: http://trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/file/trunk/wp-includes/functions.php?rev=2606

    Ok. I’ve got 1.5
    Should an upgrade to 1.5.1 fix it?
    Any if not, then I should try replacing functions.php?

    Upgrading to v1.5.1 and replacing functions.php should fix it.

    How about a crazy, drastic solution. I moved my entire site, files and datbase to another web host. (long story) Now everything works. Must have been yahoo.
    thanks for the advice. I did try replacing the functions.php, but there’s something about Yahoo that doesn’t allow pinging.
