    Hello,
I have been using Tablepress for sometime, with no problems.

But after i updatet my parent-theme i get the “Cannot reinitialise DataTable” on all of my pages. ive got over 50 tables on my page so its big problem for me.

Ive read alot aoubt the problem and found that it can be a number of things. but i cant find the problem.

I tried to deactivate all plugins, and looked at my footer and stuff, but since om not very good af codeing, i could have missed it.

I Use Elementor, to edith my page, and i dont know alot about the coding behind the theme and stuff like that.

I hope sombody can help me.

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

It looks like there is custom JavaScript code to load DataTables for all tables on site, in the file
    /wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen-child-master/js/main.js

If you want to use this instead of TablePress’ implementation, you’d need to uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox on all tables’ “Edit” screens.

    Regards,
    Tobias
